Pains de miel

Three couples spend the afternoon gathered around a table together. Beneath smiling fronts and conciliatory tones, each struggle with their own demons, camouflaging them as best they can. Whether it's a freeing or incriminating word, everyone uses the table as a public forum in which they either call out or take the others as witnesses.

The group, the couple, the individual : three ways of existing and relating that exist in parallel, but where the truth invariably lies somewhere in between. What we present to the world, what we conceal from it.
